There are many wonderful service ministries at St. James, with wonderful opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. Please click on the links below for more information about any of the following ministries:

Food Pantry
Through the weekly generosity of the people of St. James, the food pantry is well stocked and serves those members of the community that are in need, on a confidential basis. (There are 2 food bins located in the Narthex near the Sacristy for donated non-perishable food.)
Transportation Ministry
Volunteers assist the sick and the elderly who need transportation to doctor visits, light shopping and errands.
Mom's Ministry
Sing-a-longs, crafts and playtime includes mothers and their children who are not of school age. In addition to this ministry, there is a support group where mothers come together to make new friends and share ideas while seniors baby sit in a nearby playroom. Homebound Ministry of the Eucharist
A Eucharistic Minister bring the Eucharist to those that are homebound on a weekly basis.
Friendly Visiting Ministry
Volunteers visit the homebound to help relieve the isolation and the loneliness.
Shawl Ministry
This group meets monthly to pray, knit and crochet prayer shawls for people in special need of spiritual support and comfort who may be going through difficult times.
Public Policy Education Network
This ministry keeps legislative watch, supports legislation to insure respect for life, and educates the community to help meet basic human needs and fair public policies.
